Youth to organize 'Democratic Society Workshop' 2025-07-03 12:34:33 ADANA – People’s Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Adana Youth Assembly will organize “Democratic Society Workshop with Pioneering Youth”.    At 5 July the Workshop will be organize with the title of “Bi ciwanên pêşeng ber bi civaka demokratik (Democratic Society Workshop with Pioneering Youth)". Mazlum Dinç, guardian of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Deputy Co-Chair for Organising Narin Gezgör, DBP Party Assembly member Kerem Nalbant and DEM Party Youth Assembly members will make presentations.    The workshop will consist of three sessions: "History of civilisation and criticism of capitalist modernity" in the first session, "Women in state civilisation and women in democratic civilisation" in the second session, and suggestions and criticisms in the third session.     Youth Assembly member Kadir Şimşek, recalled “Call for Peace and Democratic Society” of Abdullah Öcalan and said that the call means organize for the youth.    “This organizing is the process of building the democratic society. This is our mission as youth. Actually democratic society does not mean process, it means lifestyle,” he said.    ‘LEADER MUST BE FREE’   Demanding freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and releasing of political prisoners, specially ill prisoners Şimşek said: “We expect steps from the government. Building democratic society asks big responsibility. As Leader Apo said, we have a big responsibility as youth and this falls upon to us.”   Şimşek called all the youth in Adana to join to the workshop.
