AMED – Ahead of the commemoration to be held in Amed for Ali Haydar Kaytan and Rıza Altun, many citizens have set out from various cities.

 

A mass commemoration will take place today at 3:00 PM in Şêx Seîd (Dağkapı) Square in Amed (Diyarbakır) for Ali Haydar Kaytan and Rıza Altun, who were among the leading cadres of the PKK. While preparations in the square have been completed, citizens from many cities in Turkey and Kurdistan have begun making their way to Amed.

 

Citizens from Wan (Van), Agirî (Ağrı), Adana, Mersin, Riha (Urfa), Dîlok (Antep), and Şirnex (Şırnak) have departed in vehicles to attend the commemoration. Those who have already arrived in Amed have started gathering in Şêx Seîd Square.
