NEWS CENTER - The NRT Channel headquarters in Sulaymaniyah (Silêmanî) was subjected to an armed attack by unidentified individuals.

 

The headquarters of NRT Channel, known for its proximity to the New Generation Movement, located in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, was attacked with firearms. In a statement by the channel, it was noted that the headquarters, located in the German Village complex, was targeted by several unidentified individuals. According to the statement, the attackers arrived at the scene in a car, opened fire, and quickly fled.

 

It was noted that the identities of the individuals who carried out the attack have not yet been determined, and that NRT Channel and the New Generation Movement did not accuse any party in relation to the incident.

 

Security agencies have not issued an official statement regarding the attack so far.
