HRANA: 6,445 people, including 164 children, killed in protests in Iran

NEWS CENTER – HRANA has announced that 6 thousand 445 people, including 164 children, have been killed in protests in Iran to date. 
 
The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) released a report on violations related to the protests, which are continuing for the 40th day in Rojihilat and Iran. According to the report, 6,883 people, including 164 children, were killed in 39 days, with 6,445 of them killed by regime guards. A further 11,021 people were injured. 
 
HRANA is still investigating 11,280 deaths during the protests. As a result of the protests, 50,842 people, including 109 students, were arrested, while 11,046 were summoned for questioning. 
  
Meanwhile, the report recalled the call issued by the Kurdish Independent Filmmakers Association on 4 February to boycott the Fajr Film Festival, noting that there was a huge reaction to the festival. 
 
The report stated that internet restrictions and detentions and arrests were still ongoing, and included a written statement by the Supreme Council of the Iranian Medical System, referring to the concerns of health personnel and the obstacles encountered in providing care to those injured during the protests.
