The aid convoy was stopped on Riha (Urfa) and Pirsûs (Suruç) route. During negotiations, it was stated that the aid could only pass through Azez. However, when the platform delegation was again denied passage, the platform members decided to return the aid trucks to Amed. 

 

According to the information obtained, the trucks arrived in Amed last night and the collected aid was unloaded at the Amed Exhibition Area.

 

Despite all the efforts of civil society organisations and the DEM Party, no result was achieved from the diplomatic negotiations. While humanitarian aid could not be delivered to the people of Kobanê, the aid lorries returned to Amed.
