Over 49 thousand people detained in Iran and Rojhilat

NEWS CENTER – It has been reported that over 6 thousand people have been killed and over 49 thousand arrested during protests in Rojhilat (East Kurdistan) and Iran.
 
The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) has released a new statement regarding the deaths, injuries and arrests during protests in Rojhilat and Iran. It stated that since 28 December 2025, as a result of the regime's attacks during the ongoing protests, 6,842 people have been killed, 11,021 injured and 49,070 detained. 
 
The statement noted that 146 of those killed were children under the age of 18, and that 57 people were killed even though they did not participate in the protests. It also reported that 11,046 people were summoned to their headquarters to give statements, and that 296 protesters' statements were obtained through coercion.
