People to take to the streets in many cities for Rojava

AMED - Tomorrow, various actions and events will be held in cities across Kurdistan and Turkey as part of 1 February World Rojava Solidarity Day.
 
In Kurdistan, events will be held under the slogan "Rojava is resistance, Rojava is freedom," led by the Democratic Institutions Platform. Co-Chairs of the Democratic Regions Party, Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar and Keskin Bayındır, and Co-Chair of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party, Tuncer Bakırhan, will also participate. 
 
The programme of actions and events to be held in Kurdistan cities as part of 1 February World Rojava Solidarity Day is as follows: 
 
"*In Amed (Diyarbakır), a march will be held at 3 p.m.
 
*In the Qoser (Kızıltepe) district of Mêrdîn (Mardin), a march will be held at 3 p.m. 
 
*In the Cizîr district of Şirnex (Şırnak), a march will be held at 2:00 p.m. 
 
*Sêrt (Siirt): At 1:00 p.m., a march will be held. 
 
*Êlih (Batman): A statement will be made at Yılmaz Güney Park at 2:00 p.m. 
 
*Dêrsim (Tunceli): A statement will be made at 3:00 p.m. 
 
*Xarpêt (Elazığ): A statement will be made at 3:00 p.m. 
 
*Çewlîg (Bingöl): A statement will be made at 15:00 p.m.
 
*Riha (Urfa): A statement will be made at 13:00 p.m.
 
*Dîlok (Gaziantep): A march will take place at 14:00 p.m.
 
Statements will also be made in other cities in Kurdistan. 
 
In Turkey, a march will be held in Istanbul at 3:00 p.m. led by the Peoples’ Democratic Congress (HDK), DEM Party and Free Women Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA). Statements will also be made in cities in Çukurova, the Aegean, Marmara and Central Anatolia.
