NEWS CENTER - While the people of Rojava continue to defend their regions, Turkey is not allowing aid sent to Kobanê, which remains under siege, to pass through. 

 

In Rojava's Cizîrê Canton (Jazire Region) and besieged Kobanê (Kobani), the people continue to defend themselves and their regions as part of the mobilisation. The people protecting their neighbourhoods state that they will continue to carry out their duties within the scope of legitimate defence. 

 

Meanwhile, the siege on Kobanê has entered its 13th day. Food, medicine and baby formula are running low in the city. Turkey is not allowing aid collected in Amed and sent by 25 lorries to pass through the Mürşitpınar Border Gate to Kobanê.
