The people's resistance against the attacks on Rojava by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), ISIS, and Turkey-backed paramilitary groups is growing.

 

Citizens who attended a public meeting in Wan about Rojava said they believed that Kurdish women and men would achieve a great victory with their resistance.   

 

Recalling that Kobanê faced major attacks in 2014, resisted, and became a symbol of resistance around the world, Kerem Abo said, "Our entire people must be sensitive to the attacks against Rojava. For days, the Kurdish people have been fighting on the front lines against the barbaric ISIS mentality. Our people must not leave Rojava alone. Kobanê has been a symbol of this struggle for years. We know that those directing these attacks are, of course, supported by Turkey. Turkey supports the barbaric ISIS. It is not only the Turkish state but all European states that support this mentality. Let them know well that no one can deal with the Kurds."  

 

Cengiz Akın criticized of the attacks on Rojava and stated that a dirty war is being waged against the Kurdish people. “Women, young people, and children in Rojava are being slaughtered.I condemn the attacks in Rojava. Victory is ours, and Rojava is not alone. We all know very well who supports the HTS gangs. The people of Bakur (North Kurdistan, Turkey) must stand united and speak with one voice against Rojava," he said.   

 

‘HAKAN FİDAN WANTS TO WIPE OUT THE KURDİSH PEOPLE’

 

Mehmet Şirin Gezici, who said that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is an enemy of the Kurds, emphasized that they will emerge victorious again in Rojava. Mehmet Gezici said, “The four parts of Kurdistan have become one. Hakan Fidan wants to wipe out the Kurdish people, but that is not his place. The Kurds will never be wiped out. If we lose someone there, I have 45 grandchildren to fill their place.Of course, there will be sacrifices, for Kurdistan is never won without a price. Even if Erdoğan, Bahçeli, and others come together and try to wipe out the Kurdish people, the Kurdish people will not be wiped out. No matter how many losses we have suffered, our morale has not fallen. The four parts of Kurdistan will unite and we will emerge victorious. We, as Kurds, are defending our rights, our land, and our language. The HTS and ISIS gangs cannot carry out this genocide alone, nor do they have the means to do so. They receive support from America and Turkey. Our call is for these attacks to end immediately. They will never win. These attacks and genocides against the Kurds have continued repeatedly, but each time they have failed."  

 

‘THE ATTACKS WERE CARRIED OUT BY NATION-STATES’  

 

Enver Örgü, who said that a war of annihilation against Rojava has been going on for days, stated that these attacks were carried out by the nation state. The immoral actions against the dead and the behavior contrary to human dignity are unacceptable. No one can deceive the Kurdish people, and the Kurdish people will write their own destiny. The four parts of Kurdistan must also support this and stand united. We have been in the streets for days against the attacks, and we will remain in the streets until the attacks stop. They want to conspire against the Kurdish people, but they will never succeed. We will never bow to this. Just as the Kurdish people did not bow to oppression and tyrants in the past, today they will stand up for Rojava and do the same."  

 

‘WE WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT WAS DONE TO US’  

 

Elvan Solbudak, who reported that the attacks in Rojava deeply affected women and children, said, “The Kurds have never oppressed anyone. Kurds have never oppressed anyone. All states have united to try to wiped out the Kurdish people. Kurds have only defended their rights. Because Kurdish women are very strong and powerful, there is a massacre targeting Kurdish women.Women's braided hair is being cut in Rojava. This is an insult to all of us.I call not only to Kurdish women but to all women: women’s braided hair is being cut this is done to all women. War is being waged through women. We will never accept this. We will fight to the end, and we will not forget.”
