NEWS CENTER - Political parties, forces, and organizations in North and East Syria are preparing to hold the Kurdish National Conference in the middle of next week.
According to the news in Hawar News Agency (ANHA), it was initially expected that the results of the discussions would be announced and the document of unity between Kurdish parties and political forces signed during the days of the Newroz holiday. However, the preparatory committee faced some obstacles, leading to a postponement.
During the Newroz celebrations, the Kurdish and Kurdistani people widely called for Kurdish unity and for efforts to secure the rights of the Kurdish people in Syria.
The political parties, forces, and organizations in North and East Syria were able to reach a document of unity and understanding among the Kurdish political actors, in response to the demands of the Kurdish people.
According to organizers, the document agreed upon by the Kurdish parties and forces focuses on forming a committee to discuss the rights of the Kurdish people with the Damascus authorities, and emphasizes the necessity of securing these rights and including them in the new Syrian constitution.
Kurdish parties and forces in North and East Syria have been discussing the unification of Kurdish visions for a new Syria for years. A series of meetings have been held, the latest of which was on March 16, where Kurdish parties discussed holding a comprehensive Kurdish conference in Rojava, the challenges facing Kurdish unity, and reviewed the political document derived from previous dialogues among the different parties.
