EP Rapporteur Amor: Öcalan’s call is a historic step very much welcome

HABER MERKEZİ - EP Rapporteur on Turkey Nacho Sánchez Amor stated that Abdullah Öcalan's call is the best starting point for a solution to the Kurdish issue.
 
The European Parliament Standing Rapporteur on Turkey, Nacho Sánchez Amor, commented on the call made by Abdullah Öcalan today on his X account. Sánchez Amor said, “The call today by Abdullah Öcalan on the PKK to lay down its arms and be dissolved is a historic step very much welcome. The best starting point for a potential political and inclusive process that will peacefully settle the Kurdish issue in Turkey, based on dialogue and reconciliation."
