Daughter of ill prisoner Cam: His condition is bad, he must be released urgently

	SÊRT - Visiting ill prisoner Mehmet emin Cam, his daughter Simel Cam said that her father came to the meeting with the help of his friends, that his condition was bad and that he should be released immediately. 

	 

	Mehmet Emin Cam, 73 is being held in Batman Beşiri T-Type Closed Prison and is on the list of seriously ill prisoners of the Human Rights Association (IHD). Cam had a heart attack on 16 April. Cam was taken under treatment at Batman Training and Research Hospital and was sent back to prison on 22 April. 

	 

	Simel Cam, who went to see her father at prison yesterday, said that her father's condition remained serious. Noting that her father was able to come to the visit with the help of his ward mates, Simel Cam said, I asked about his condition, he said that there were still burises in the area where he had angioplasty. There are bruises because his treatment was not done properly. He was sent back to prison when he should have been under surveillance."

	 

	'URGENT RELEASE IS NEEDED'

	 

	Stating that her father could not speak due to memory loss and that he had pain, Simel Cam added, "3 vessels in my father's brain are blocked, which can lead to stroke and cerebral haemorrhage. Two vessels in the heart are still blocked and in a very risky situation. His left side is already paralysed and despite all these, he was hospitalised for only 6 days. We have applied to many places and we are waiting for his release. He needs to be released urgently. Enough is enough, let this persecution end. My father was in a bad condition. He again asked about Sirri Sureyya Onder's condition. He called for public sensitivity for ill prisoners."
